Chemistry

A Level

Chemistry is a very exciting introduction to higher level science and is a highly regarded qualification for many further courses; essential for medical and veterinary based studies.

Chemistry impacts on all aspects of our daily lives from the food we eat and the clothes we wear to powering mobile phones, energy production, drug design and manufacture and environmental protection.

After studying the basics of atomic electronic structure, kinetics and organic chemistry, you will move on to applications of chemistry in fields as diverse as medicine, water testing and chemical engineering. Students who study A Level Chemistry often progress to study Medicine, Chemical Engineering, Maths and Pharmaceuticals.
