In Sixth Form we plan a range of activities and tutorials to prepare students for their next steps. For the vast majority of students this will be applying to university through UCAS, for others help and support is provided as students move onto apprenticeships and into the world of work.

You will be given opportunities to develop relevant skills through tutorials and extracurricular activities. The Sixth Form Team will help support you through every step of the process.

What we’re offering 2017/18

Results 2017

Walbottle Campus celebrated exceptional A Level results in 2017, with a significant number of
students achieving the top grades of A* and A.

98% of our students have accessed their first choice university course. Many of these students are the first generation of their family to go to university – a massive achievement for them. We have students embarking on a variety of courses, including: Medicine, History, Mathematics, Computer Science, Psychology, Business Management, Computer & Digital Forensics and Child and Early Years Studies at high calibre universities across the country.

There were strong subject performances across the board, with both our academic and vocational courses performing well. Four out of the five vocational courses achieved 100% Distinction* to Merit (equivalent to A* to B), an absolutely fantastic achievement.

We would like to say well done to all the students and staff, who have worked hard to make this a successful and brilliant year. If you want to join our successful team make sure you enrol now!
