GCSE
In 2018, 73% of GCSE subjects achieved higher grades than last year, with all core areas of English, Maths and Science demonstrating significant improvement. Overall, 57% of GCSEs were awarded grades 4+ (C or above), an increase of 7% on our 2017 results. The number of students achieving the highest grades of 8 and 9 (A+ and A*) increased across the curriculum, confirming that our school is an excellent choice for ambitious students. In addition, our vocational subjects continued to deliver top results, especially in areas such as Health & Social Care, Construction and Engineering.

100% pass rate for all Sixth Form courses.

Sixth Form
We celebrated 100% pass rate for all Sixth Form courses in 2018, with 83% of A-Level results graded A*-C, placing our sixth form ahead of the national average. Many of our students achieve the top grades and this year almost a quarter of all A-Levels were graded A*-A (24%). In addition, our vocational subjects perform exceptionally well, with 100% of vocational courses achieving Distinction*-Pass in 2018.
